Think of all the things you learned how to do before you went to school. Education is not just going to school. It is the lifelong learning
that takes place within a person as he deals with 1 of all kinds, makes decisions, forms opinions, and develops 2 with others. Everyone 3 some
kind of education just by learning from the experiences of life. Schooling, or the learning that takes place in a series of schools over a period of years, is usually called “formal education.”
There was no formal education at all in very ancient times. Education was 4 around
the home. A boy 5 learned to do 6 the
same work as his father. He learned by watching is father and the other men in the tribe and by helping them. A girl learned all necessary 7 she would need as an 8 from her mother and the other women in the family or tribe. The children learned only the tasks needed for 9 food, 10 and shelter.
